Our Promoters

CreditAccess India B.V. (“CAI”) is a Netherlands-based investment holding company and our promoter and majority shareholder. CAI builds and backs financial institutions that serve women-led micro and small businesses, the emerging middle-income families and their MSMEs in India, Indonesia and the Philippines. Alongside its investment in our business, CAI has promoted and still leads the first licensed micro-insurance in India, widening the range of financial services available to the similar customer’s segment.

CAI is a professionally managed company, backed by an international base of more than 250 shareholders — European family offices and private investors, many of whom have been shareholders since CAI’s formation, alongside institutional and development finance investors. Such an ownership structure gives us something unique in our industry: a strategic controlling shareholder whose objectives, time horizon and standards are aligned with the ones of our customers.
