Recently, CA Grameen employees had the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children battling thalassemia.
The CA Grameen Blood Donation Drive, in partnership with CreditAccess India Foundation and Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, helped collect 72 units of blood on December 20. The event, inaugurated by CEO Ganesh Narayanan, helped raise awareness about thalassemia, a blood disorder that prevents the body from producing its own red blood cells.
Samraksha, the day-care centre at Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, is dedicated to providing care and blood transfusions to over 420 children affected by thalassemia, and we at CA Grameen are proud to have supported them in this noble venture.
The Drive was the first event in the lead up to our 25th Foundation Day (May 31, 2024), and it successfully set the stage for future events that will strive to positively impact our customers, employees and stakeholders.
